Bee Recreational Park, Cibubur East Jakarta

It's been countless that I drove my car out of the Toll Cibubur Exit gate, but only this time I stopped by at Taman Wisata Lebah Cibubur (Cibubur Bee Recreational Park), which is only 150 m from the exit toll gate. On the first intersection road after the exit toll gate I turned left, at the T-junction turned to the right a little further turned left into parking area of Cibubur Bee Recreational Garden.

Menteng Park, Central Jakarta

Perhaps this was the third or fourth visit to the location of Jakarta Menteng Park, which, as the name suggests, is in the Menteng area of Central Jakarta surrounded by Jl HOS Cokroaminoto in the West, Jl. Prof Moh Yamin in the North, Jl Kediri in East, Jl Sidoarjo and Jl Kertosono in the South, with a parking building in the southwest corner.

Indonesian National History Museum, Central Jakarta

Accidentally I visited Museum Sejarah Nasional Indonesia (Indonesian National History Museum) in Monas (National Monument), Central Jakarta, after canceling going to the top of Monas due to a very long queue. Understandably it was Saturday, and while it was still relatively early in the morning, the time everyone thinks was less of visitors, but the opposite happened, as people had apparently the same thoughts.

Transportation Museum, TMII East Jakarta

Throughout my short memories, just only this time I visited to Jakarta TMII Transportation Museum, despite already passed it somewhat dozens of times during several visits to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. In addition to the museum name that might not yet that popular, probably because there was no strong pull to stop by at this place.

Jakarta War Cemetery, South Jakarta

Makam Perang Jakarta, or Jakarta War Cemetery, located in Menteng Pulo area, South Jakarta, I visited several months ago with some friends. It was Olyvia Bendon who had arranged the memorable visit, and that was the first time I had met her on face.

Gallery of F. Widayanto, South Jakarta

It was a friend who gave me information and then suggested me to visit Galeri F. Widayanto Jakarta at Jl. Setiabudi II no. 11 which was then exhibiting Widayanto's work entitled "China Dream". I followed her advice, and that's how I got to know his famous masterpiece.

Bakso Lapangan Tembak Senayan JCC, South Jakarta

The day was a little drizzle as I strolled past row of stalls to a branch of Bakso Lapangan Tembak Senayan JCC which is located next to JCC, Senayan, Jakarta. The atmosphere of all the stalls were understandably very packed, as it lunch time, and there were several exhibitions taking place at JCC.

Warung Apresiasi Bulungan, South Jakarta

Wapres, or Warung Apresiasi Bulungan (Bulungan Appreciation Food Stall), is a fairly comfortable hangout where every night visitors can enjoy food with fairly cheap prices, while enjoying performance of new bands that show their abilities to play music on a semi permanent stage located in the middle of the stall.

I heard from CnJ 99.9 FM, it looked like the only jazz radio in Jakarta at that time, that there would be live performance or Wolfgang Muthspiel Concert at Rasuna Concert Hall Kuningan, Jakarta. The show was held on Sunday, January 14, 2006.

Museum Pengkhianatan PKI Lubang Buaya is located in a vast complex on Jl. Raya Pondok Gede, Lubang Buaya, Cipayung Subdistrict, East Jakarta, a few hundred meters away from the Haj Dormitory.
