LKers Community on Stage

Here's a good chance to have a close look on who's who and what they do in Komunitas LKers (LKers Community), as LKers will organize an on stage discussion, readings, photo exhibition, testimonials and music performance of Leo Kristi's works on Saturday, November 10, in conjunction with the commemoration of Hari Pahlawan (Heroes' Day).

LKers is a group of people who are united in a familial community due to their chronic love affairs with Leo Krist's songs. They are communicating regularly through mailing list at leokristi@yahoogroups.com, and have organized a couple of memorable gatherings.

Leo Kristi is probably the only Indonesian troubadour singer and author, and he is still strong and active even at the age of 58. His ballad and heroic songs inspired many people in the late 1970s and 1980s, and continued thereafter.

Thanks to Adi (Setyadi) and Kef (Kurnia Effendi) who are the drivers behind the event, supported by Yoosca Sakanti Dewi, Albert Go, Ramdan Malik, Totot and other LKers. The arranger for music performance are Gamawan Waloeyo and Asep Rezza Suhendra, supported by BA, Sena Reksolegora, Aries Ducat, Tanti, Dwi, and others.
